The WGHS 2023-2024 competition starts registration on June 5th and lasts about 8 months. The trading period is from September to December. Teams need to use virtual money to trade stocks on the WInS platform. They are required to submit a mid-term report on October 30th and a final report on December 11th to qualify for the semi-finals.
Team format focuses on school representation
The competition requires teams of 4-7 high school students from grades 9-12 who study at the same school. Each team must have an advisor who is a teacher from the same school to provide guidance. This focuses the competition on representing your school versus teams formed across schools.
